GOD HATES DIVORCE- IN MARRIAGE, NO DIVORCE, NO REMARRY, IT IS UNTIL DEATH DO US PART.
Marriages are known to be one of the most stable and long-lasting relationships, for it is based on the principle of covenant between husband, wife, and God. The Bible teaches that the marriage union is a holy and sacred institution established by God at the beginning of creation (Genesis 2:24). The Bible also teaches that marriage is a reflection of the relationship between Christ and His Church, thus highlighting its importance, permanency, and sacredness.
NO DIVORCE
The Christian faith, therefore, upholds the belief that marriage is for life, and hence, divorce should never be an option. Jesus Christ explicitly talks about divorce in the New Testament, and His views on it are very clear. In Matthew 19: 6, He says, "Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate." Jesus reinforces the fact that marriage is not just a physical union but a spiritual one as well that involves God's blessing and covenant. He goes on to say that whoever divorces his or her spouse and marries another commits adultery (Matthew 19:9).
The apostle Paul also emphasizes the importance of marriage and its permanency in his letter to the Corinthians. In 1 Corinthians 7:10, he says, "To the married I give this command, not I but the Lord: A wife must not separate from her husband." Notice that Paul is not giving his opinion but is quoting the Lord Jesus. He goes on to say that if a couple does separate, they should not remarry but reconcile (1 Corinthians 7:11).

In Mark 10:11-12, Jesus says, "Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her, and if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery." The Bible teaches that adultery is a sin and is a violation of the marriage covenant.
The book of Romans also highlights the importance of fidelity in marriage. In Romans 7:2-3, Paul says, "For a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives; but if her husband dies, she is discharged from the law concerning the husband. Accordingly, she will be called an adulteress if she lives with another man while her husband is alive."
UNTIL DEATH DO US PART
The Christian concept of marriage is that it is till death do us part. In the book of Malachi, God says, "I hate divorce," declares the Lord God of Israel, "and I hate a man's covering himself with violence as well as with his garment," says the Lord Almighty. So guard yourself in your spirit and do not break faith" (Malachi 2:16). The emphasis here is on guarding one's spirit and being faithful to the marriage covenant, which is a reflection of the covenant that God has with His people.
